Semi-professional toaster
High-end drum toasters, with data and profiles. For those who touch a lot and want to repeat it with precision.
- Indicative price
- €3000–4000
- Capacity
- 350–1.000 g
Semi-professional toasters, such as the Aillio Bullet R1 and R2, are induction-heated drums with temperature probes and computer connection. They record each nut in a curve, keep profiles to repeat them and have 350-1,000 g in 8-14 minutes.
With them you work as a professional toaster: you follow the speed at which the temperature rises, measure the development after the first crack (it is usually recommended 20-25% of the total time, although it is a data discussed) and adjust from one batch to another.
- In favour: total control and repeatable results.
- In favor: large bands to share.
- Against: very high price.
- Against: you need an installation with smoke output.
Security: install an extraction duct to the outside, have a hand-held extinguisher and don't let it run without supervision.
Guidance prices from €3,000 to €4,000. It values the software, the technical service, the electrical consumption and the space it occupies with the extraction. Cheapest alternative: an electric drum toaster (€400-700).
